The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.
SASSA will be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency stated it can be alarmed with regards to the higher amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The provider place established for intervention ordeals a superior inflow sassa of probable beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to empower the servicing of all buyers and enhance access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
